Nicola tells us about herself
Hello, my
name is Nicola George. I am twenty one years old. My birthday is the 26th
of April, and I was born in the year 1992. I live in Valsequillo. I am a
student at Chester University in the North of England. I am studying an
International Business and Spanish Degree. My course is four years long, and I
am now in my third year. I am currently an assistant teacher at your school Los
Llanetes, where I help students with their English.
During
University I live in Chester with my friends, but when I am not at University I
live with my dad in the North of Wales (in a little village next to the beach
called Talacre).
I lived in
the North of England for over thirteen years in a town called Darlington. I
have also lived in Fuerteventura for over two years, as well as Liverpool (on
the Wirral), Holywell (a small town in the North of Wales for a year), and
Talacre (a small village in the North of Wales for three years). In my first
year of University I lived in a shared house in Chester with ten other girls.
In my second year I lived with four other girls. I now live on my own, and next
year I will probably live in Chester again
As well as
studying, I also work part-time. In my free time I like
to; read magazines, relax, watch the telly, or go out with friends. My
favourite hobbies are going horse riding, playing badminton and netball. My
favourite colour is purple and my favourite foods are chicken, spaghetti,
pizza, salad, cakes, pancakes, and chocolate and now mojo picón. My favourite
dish is ‘Sunday Lunch’ with meat, potatoes, gravy and vegetables with homemade
apple pie and custard. I love listening to Pop, R&B and Rap. I really love
listening to Jazz music as well. I hope have a fun time in Gran Canaria and enjoy with my children at school.
